No. A topical aesthetic cream is applied to numb the area ahead of the treatment to minimise any discomfort. You may feel a slight scratching sensation.

Micropigmentation usually take approximately 2 hours to complete. You will provide your client with consultation paperwork, which includes the method of application, the process, the shape, design, colour along with the aftercare and maintenance of PMU.

No, never! This is a myth. Tattoo artists will normally shave an area to help see where their design is being placed before they start. However as a permanent makeup artist, you would be taking away something that is of benefit to your client. Only untidy hairs that are not within the shape of the final look will be removed to achieve a groomed brow.

No. The procedure does not affect the present hair follicles. Your hair will grow as normal and they will still require regular maintenance.

Surface healing takes between 7-10 days. However, it takes a minimum of 28 days to see the final result for permanent makeup and can take up to 2 months depending on the age and condition of the skin. The older you are the longer the healing process takes between treatments.
